big girl bed

So my daughter has moved to a big girl bed. Good for her and good for me! I faced many people telling me she's not ready, she's too young (16 months), I'm in for it now, etc. But you know, I followed my instincts and it feels right. She hated her crib and I in turn dreaded putting her to bed most nights.

So far, 3 nights in and it's been ok. No middle of the night visits yet but a few calls for mommy. I secretly love those moments...coming in to snuggle and smell her moist hair, kiss her soft cheek.

I'll sleep one day...but my daughter will only be a wee one for a short time so its all good.
