All about Daddy

We had so much fun today preparing our gifts for Father's Day! Today was our rescheduled Park, Craft & Play for Father's Day event and the weather was gorgeous for it.

The right amount of breeze and sun, made it perfect.
Today was all about daddy so we read a Story called, "Daddy Loves Me" by DK Publishing, we sang a song titled Father's Day and listened to a tale about Daddy and his different hats, using our paper doll Matt!

The kids had fun stripping down so that they could paint and make their craft for Father's day. Our craft was a white shirt that the kids walked on with their paint covered feet, or hand prints on paper for a card. Here is the one my daughter Dylan made for her dad... with a little help from mom of course!

And what would a play-date be without our other songs, stories and playtime!

See the Sleeping Bunnies and some Ring around the Rosie in the photos below!

We read two stories today, the second one was titled, "Rainbow Peekaboo". We played with our puppets, and played under the parachute and of course hit the swings, sandbox and slides!

Wishing every Daddy a Happy Father's Day this Sunday June 20th!
