At last we had our Camping and Canoes Party! We had to reschedule it from August, but despite the cooler "camping" weather, we had a great time.
There was a tent, flashlights, blankets and sleeping bags; a firepit for roasting our smores, although we opted to have the kids not roast the marshmallows but to snack a la carte from the items that make a Smore!
Our craft for the day was to design our own Visors! The kids had stickies for spelling their name and other adornments to put on the visors. We sang some songs while we crafted which ended up in an impromptu dance-a-thon by a few of the campers.
Our favorite camping songs were Row, Row, Row your Boat and On top of Spaghetti! Twinkle Twinkle little star was also requested 2 x's!
What a great group of kids and moms, with not a single "tangle" between kids for toys or slide rides!
