To wet to go to the park, to cold to go to the wet park even with gear on, and all this leads to grumpy mommy and grumpy tot :(.
Thank goodness for momstown especially momstown arts and crafts because there I find easy crafts to do with my daughter.
I also like to keep her busy by getting her involved in cooking with me so that I'm not in the kitchen while she complains about being bored in the playroom. Yup, my 2 year old, almost 3 year old understands and uses the words, "I'm bored", more often then I would like. To keep my kitchen safe while cooking with my toddler, I turn to momstown meals where there is a host of wonderful member inspired recipes. In fact our very own momstown mom Jaya won an award with momstown.ca for her Easter Bunny's Carrot Cake recipe last month!
So even though it is rainy and cool, we try to look on the bright side everyday with crafts, cooking, books and playtime! When break time comes for mom, I'm on the message board or visiting our facebook fanpage for tips and tricks as well as discussions with other moms on staying sane in yucky weather.

ReplyDeleteMy 15 months old doesn't speak yet, but I can see that he is bored too on days like this, he does not want to play with his toys and just walks around the room looking bored or comes to me asking to lift him up. I wonder, if there any any arts and crafts suitable for his age
