Mom to two, and Loving it!

The past 4 weeks have been a bit of a blur and that is probably because on June 29th, my husband and I welcomed baby #2. A beautiful little girl we named Cameron Grace, 8 pounds, 7 ounces.

She is amazing and she joins her big sister Dylan!

When I say amazing, I really mean amazing! First, I never thought that I would have a baby girl, let alone two girls, and amazing because she is such a good baby. I do believe that all babies are great, but the only experience that I can compare to is my first daughter.

Never desiring to compare siblings, I will here because this first month has been so different then that with my first. I have gone from a non-sleeper (2 1/2 years of not sleeping) to a wee-one that rocks the clock! She lets me sleep at night and it is so good!

Both my girls are fantastic and I wish that everyone could experience the joy that I do everyday with my daughters. I'm not wearing rose colored glasses and am experiencing the ups and downs of the mommy juggling act, but the smiles out way the frowns thats for sure.

A win win for me through this learning curve after going from 1 to 2, is the momstown moms that have been there to help when I needed it. These are the moms that have joined momstown Toronto Bloorwest, who couldn't wait to meet the new baby, the moms that couldn't wait to give me a helping hand, a smile, a word of encouragement, and of course to chase my toddler when I am trying to juggle breastfeeding and a running toddler!

Thats just one of the great things about momstown, the moms get it, and help. We are all there for each other. Our kids know one another and are growing up together. Friends for mom, friends for the kids. Win Win!
