The Backyardigans - Review

Thank you to Koba Entertainment for the family pack of tickets to see The Backyardigans: Quest for the Extraordinary Aliens at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. I love the Backyardigans and have since I first introduced them to my daughter. It has always been one of the shows I don't mind that she watches for her allotted TV time, so I am not sure who was more excited: me or my daughter to go to the show!

As the show started, we all started clapping to the music, and dancing in our seats. The frenzy began right from the start show and never stopped from there.

The Quest for the Extraordinary Aliens kept all of us engaged from beginning to end. Our eyes were glued on the stage as we watched The Backyardigans transform into daring detectives, cookie security guards and space ace reporters in pursuit of a mysterious space ship and its missing alien passenger. Using a combination of images on gigantic video screens and physical set elements, we felt like we we traveling along with the Backyardigans to shivering Frozen Toes Mountain, the blistering Hot Footsy Desert, and the volcanic Lost Pirate Island.

We loved the show, watching the looks of joy, the squealing and laughing . It was an experience that I am sure none of us will forget.
