Momstown - Toronto East! A New Adventure!

Like Carrie, I am also new here... but, I must say that I feel that I live in the best part of the city!  Toronto's East End sucked me in over 3 years ago and I plan on growing old retiring right here in the Beaches... hopefully sooner than later. ;)

I am excited to be a part of the growth and expansion of Momstown across Toronto.  I initially fell in love with the idea of Momstown 3 years ago, but there was no chapter in my area and I was unable to commit to anything outside of my girls and my new business.  My girls are growing (along with my business) and I feel it is the perfect time for me to take part of this exciting adventure with Ann-Marie.

My daughters are 4 & (almost) 6.  They keep me smiling... even when they frustrate me, they know a simple little bum wiggle will get me to smile again.  I love nothing more than to watch them grow and learn.  They are becoming such wonderful little ladies and they are best friends to each other.  I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Next to being a full-time mom, I am the founder and owner of Beaches Fitness.  I started my personal training studio in my basement for moms; I kept my prices low and had an attached playroom for kids.  I also offer the added convenience of taking care of any infants / toddlers while their mom worked out.  A few months after starting my personal training studio, I decided I would offer Baby Fitness classes for moms in the area.  I originally thought this was just going to be a short-term thing, to get my business out there in the public eye... little did I know that I would end up loving teaching the classes.  I have mothers taking my classes now that have been with me for over 2 years.  I have also started my own parents group in the East End of Toronto and I have really enjoyed planning events and meetups for our group.  I am excited to be able to bring my love of fitness, parenting and group events together and offer everything I can to Momstown.
