Ever wonder how fruits and veggies make it from farm to store to your plate?   Much is routed through the Ontario Food Terminal, located right here in Toronto.  Fresh produce comes from hundreds of wholesalers and farmers everyday, and is then purchased for stores and restaurants across the country.

One day a year, the Food Terminal, which is normally closed to the public, opens it doors for Taste of the Food Terminal, a great festival where families can come see the terminal and all its vendors, learn lots of great info about Ontario produce, sample some of the freshest fruits and veggies and support FoodShare.

It's like the ultimate farmers market!  What a cool way to spend a Saturday, check it out!
