This is seriously the mecca of playgrounds in the city, and a really enjoyable spot for parents as well. Its really worth the trip from anywhere in the city for a few hours of free fun and great surroundings. We're wondering why we haven't spent more time there.

Kids may suffer from play excitement overload and not really don't know what to do first - but that giant castle and super cool slides are a natural first stop. Lots of things to climb and explore. We brought our parachute to play with, and honestly it wasn't needed since there was already so much great activity onsite.
The area surrounding the playground makes for a great outing as well. Right there are tons of lovely picnic spots, entrance to the Park Zoo, the Duck Pond, and a train stop for the park's trackless train which you can hop on to explore the rest of the park, great for little ones who can't walk that far.
We also like that there are plenty of shady spots to throw down a blanket and escape from the sun.
Map/ Directions & Parking - Jamie Bell Adventure Playground, High Park
If you're not all that familiar with navigating High Park, here's a quick map - including where you can find parking inside the park closest to the Adventure Playground.
There's a whole other playground area with splash pad up at the north end of the park too, but we'll save that post for another day!

I'm famous...that's me in the background with my 3 kids :) It was great to meet you ladies! Sad I'm leaving Toronto and won't be able to be actively involved in Momstown.
