If they have, and have an interest in racing, why not check out some real racing? You may not realize that Canada's got a pretty vibrant race scene, highlighted by the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, with races running right in our own backyard over the course of the season.
The 2013 season wrapped up last weekend at Kawartha Speedway - rain washed out the original race day, so we were disappointed to miss out but are looking forward to checking out another race next year.
I can't change a tire, but I must admit having been to a couple of races before, its pretty cool to see even for a city girl. Amazing the speed and agility of the drivers, and watching the pit stop turnovers. Where can I find a crew like that so I don't have to plan a whole day around taking the car to the shop? :)

We were all set up with our race day gear, courtesy of Canadian Tire, and perhaps before we put it away for next year, we just might have our own living room tailgate party and watch Cars one more time..
