Gift Ideas for Kids: How to Gift an iOS App

Stuck for a gift idea?  Did you know that you can "gift" apps from the iTunes Store?

What a great way to share your favourite kids apps with those you love.  Also great for taking advantage of App Store sales.

Here's how you do it:

iTunes Store on iPad or iPhone

1. Choose the app you want in the app store
2. Tap the arrow icon in the top right hand corner of the screen, then tap the "Gift" option

Desktop

1.  Go to the iTunes App Store and select the app of your choice
2.  Underneath the main app icon where you buy it, click the arrow and select "Gift This App"

3.  Fill in the info of the recipient and choose either a send now option or pick a date within the next 90   days.  

Feeling creative?  Send it to yourself, then print or copy the redemption codes into a card!
