momstown Toronto - Fun Games to Play With Your Preschooler

I loved games when I was a kid. LOVED them. I still do. I always asked for a new game come gift giving (receiving) time. The job fell upon my little shoulders to beg the family to gather around the table to the give the game a try, and once I succeeded, we had an absolute blast. Playing games is still one of my favourite ways to spend time with friends and family. So much fun.

The 4yo in me was dying to get my hands on the games for our Mattel Mommy and Me game day, and the mom in me was so thrilled to start sharing my love of game playing with the next generation.

Our moms and kids really had a blast playing the games, Chipmunk Chompers, UNO Moo®, Go Piggy Go!, Parrot Pile-UpAngry Birds Knock on Wood Game. The games range in age from 3-5, and each game exercised different skill sets, from social, to counting, to alphabet and easy reading.

Playing games with your kids is a fun and easy way to teach them early lessons in patience, strategy, and the biggie, good sportsmanship. We all do it, but do your best to resist the urge to let them win. You will be teaching them the importance of following rules, and how to be good winner...and loser.

If you're looking for some new activities and challenges, these games are a great place to start. Available now, they're a prefect addition to your holiday gift list. (56 days until Christmas if you're counting)

Game on!
