When illness brings your little one down

There is nothing worse then having a little one who is sick. Your heart aches for them as they suffer through the stuffy nose and fever. As a mom, what do you do to make them feel comfortable and safe? I think that feeling helpless is normal.

I wonder about her play groups that are carrying on without her, the time with her friends that she is missing; but I also think that she is loving having mommy hold her 24/7 and that is makes me feel better. There is nothing else that I would rather be doing but hold her tight and watch the same Baby Einstein video for the upteen time.... as long as it means she's happy...
