Treasure Hunt in the Park

What a great day we had for our Treasure Hunt in the Park play-date! The rain held off and so did the wind!

Waiting for the kids when they arrived were their own personalized Nature Treasure Bags which had a list of what they were supposed to find. So with mom in tow, they headed out across the park to hunt for Treasure!

We hunted for Acorns, Pine cones, A Leaf, A twig and one Surprise item, something that the kids found and wanted. As it turns out they collected stones in all sizes and even some bark!

What did we do with our finds? Dipped them in paint and used them as stamps on our paper, of course. Such fun as the kids got plenty messy! Some of the kids were very serious about their art work, and others, were more interested in just getting covered in paint!

We made sure that there was plenty of time left over for swings, sand castles, and slides. At the end of our morning, we had some great art to take home to show Daddy!
