momstown went to the Ontario Science Centre!!

What a fantastic Tuesday! We beat the rain and headed on indoors to the Ontario Science Centre.

The kids had a great time in Kidspark, where they shopped, had "ball" races, "built" a house and more!

Such fun for the moms and we had to pry the wee-ones away, who then promptly fell asleep in their car rides home!

Let's go to the Toronto Zoo!

The Toronto Bloorwest momstown moms and tots headed out today for a trip to the Toronto Zoo.
The weather was perfect, no humidity and lots of sunshine! This was perfect as it seemed the animals were more interested in coming and being seen as well!


The highlights were of course, the Pony Rides, The Conservation Carousel, Kids Zoo, and last but not least Splash Island.

Treasure Hunt and Picassos in High Park

Today our moms and tots joined up and went on a Treasure Hunt in High Park. The kids were given bags to put their "treasures" in, and after the hunt they were able to perform a little show and tell, then use their findings to create a picture!


It was a bit messy but the weather was perfect for our little artists, some who got covered in paint and some who decided to paint in their diapers!

As always, there was time left to run around and jump and swing in the playground!

Earth Day Celebration!

Several of our moms and tots and dads too, meet up in High Park for our Earth Day Celebration where we went on a Scavenger Hunt for things we found in nature.

Twigs, rocks, leaves, acorns and a pine cone!

It was a little on the windy and cool side but the kids had a great time anyway. The highlight was our Circle time where everyone shared their "treasures" in our Show and Tell!

The kids had some time to play in the park with the swings and slides and dirt, which gave the moms some time to catch up!

What a great time and we all enjoyed getting out in the Spring weather for some fresh air!

Firehall Visit - Field Trip #2

What a great time on Saturday at our Firehall visit to Station #424 on Runnymede.

The kids were sporting tons of smiles and giggles. Each of our tots were able to sit in the drivers seat and climb in the back! Some of the kids didn't want to get out!

A few of the kids were able and "brave enough to try on the Firefighter's boots!

One brave dad was our "Firefighter" of the day, donning the uniform and gear!

The firefighters taught us what to do in case of fire in our house, the importance of having a plan and a meeting place for the entire family, and of course what not to do in the case of a fire.

The station was on their way to treat us to a "pretend" emergency call when a real one was actually announced. Our firefighters raced off to fight another fire, while the children looked on in awe.

Apples, Apples and Pumpkins

We headed out today to Chudleighs Apple Farm and had a great time! The weather was perfect and the company amazing!

First we visited the "Petting Zoo", then off for a Wagon Ride and finally sometime in the Straw Maze and Climbing Zone. Lastly we grabbed some lunch and then had some more play time before we put some tired little tots into the cars for a napping ride home!

We saw Goats, Bunnies, Deer, Cows, Ponies, Chickens and even a Peacock! The kids had a great time playing in the pumpkin patch and riding the "Horse" Swings!
